Description
sick of overdrive pedals that fall short?
You love the tone of your guitar and clean amp, but plug in an overdrive pedal and suddenly it’s all gone wrong.
The tone changes. There's a mid hump. No low end. Too fizzy. Too wimpy. Not tube-like. You never find a sweet spot on the controls. It’s frustrating, right?
your tone with gritty, crunchy overdrive
Imagine having raw, crunchy tones without sacrificing the character of your guitar and amp.
Introducing the Autumn Drive by Renzo Sound - the transparent overdrive pedal that delivers big, broad, amp-like breakup.

BrianPMannn immediately after receiving and plugging in, wOw! I was used to using a lot of overdrives just to get that "gritty, just past breakup" sound, not really into "distortion". I run the Autumn drive into other OD's (5 others on my main board, I dig variety:-)). This gem is more "organic" than other big-name OD pedals on my board. This thing has proven to stand on it's own aNd play well with others! It has become my main drive, almost always on, as it cleans up with volume knob, but wait! there's more! This pedal has that gnarly grit per ZZ Top, but it cleans up aMAzingly well with pick attack. This is my favorite feature here, it's VERY responsive to pick hand, and that's a wonderful thing! If you've ben thinking about this pedal, stop thinkin and start orderin! I'm a fan, plan on looking into Renzo's other offerings!.Dave PAutumn Drive Flys
I had been following Renzo Sound for a bit and finally picked up the Autumn Drive. Player for many decades and have to say this pedal deserves much more exposure. I run a light boost before my drives with the exception of an older Mosfet drive. I favor P90s and these days due more home studio work but could easily play out with this pedal on my board. The lack of tone controls is a positive for this design as it isn't needed with the design Renzo Sound has put out here and would add another variable that might interfere with the versatility and stacking ability it has. The Autumn Drive gives plenty of crunch on it's own, and I agree with another reviewer t0 not get mislead by the "light" description. Pair it with either a Tim pedal or a Blackstone Mosfet and you have some of the great tones of early rock like, The Yardbirds, Clapton and others. This pedal can sing sweetly and can weave into almost any era of music you want to try for, except high gain metal but who knows. Price is well worth the construction and value given by Renzo Sound and I look forward to whatever else Angelo and company has in mind.CCLGive it a shot.
30-year player, longtime pedal snob here. I'm a home studio guy, I don't crank amps to airplane volume to generate tone -- I rely on pedals. Wanted to give this one a try, liked the story, turns out it's a solid addition to the arsenal. Articulate, classic rock tones at dimed drive (don't let the "light" descriptor scare you), crunchy at the lower side for bluesier stuff. No fizz, no noise; easy to set or adjust. The OCD is my go-to, and this one compares quite well without being a copy. So! If you like simple, smooth dirt pedals for a bargain price, you have no excuses. Renzo won't disappoint. Looking forward to the Winter pedal...John H.A new pedal board favorite!
Wow, do I love this pedal! I'm totally BLOWN away by the tone. It’s way more dynamic than I could have imagined. Glad I took the chance on this overdrive, going to be solid option for recording.Leave a Review
